Friend --
We just launched our new Organizing for
America online store, and I wanted to make sure you saw it.
There are a bunch of new products to choose
from, but there's one item in particular I hope you'll pick up.
As the President often reminds us, the
real change we all fought so hard for has only just begun.
Our "Community
Organizer" button shows that you understand the importance
of building a door-by-door, block-by-block organization, and
that you're hard at work making it happen.
The "Community Organizer" button
is just $5 -- and shipping is free. Check it out.
Proudly wearing your OFA gear -- whether
this button or any of the other items -- is a great way to show
your support and spread the word about our ongoing campaign for
change.
There are T-shirts, buttons, and stickers,
as well as a fleece, hat, and water bottle.
They're all union-printed and American-made,
and feature our updated logo.
Check out the new "Community Organizer"
button here:

Dear Friend,
Last night, we reached another historic
milestone in the fight for real health care reform. The Senate
passed the first procedural hurdle in moving the Patient Protection
and Affordable Health Care Act forward with a successful 60-39
vote to proceed on the bill.
We needed 60 votes to move forward, and
that's exactly what we got. So does this mean the fight is over?
Not even close.
Republicans are going to use every trick
in the book to beat this bill -- delays, poison-pill amendments,
and distortions about the bill -- whatever it takes. And there
will be plenty of more times we need to fight for every last
vote.
Thousands and thousands of you have added
your names to the list of supporters of this bill. You are among
the millions of Americans speaking out who will ultimately make
the difference for health care reform.
If you haven't had a chance, add your name
to our list of supporters of the Patient Protection and Affordable
Health Care Act.

Thank you so much for your support. We
made history last night, but there is still much to do. I'll
keep you updated as we make progress on this bill.
Sincerely,
Chris Dodd
