Friend --
Yesterday brought huge news out of New York's 23rd congressional district.
Republican Dede Scozzafava has suspended her campaign, leaving a two-way race between Democrat Bill Owens and Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman.
Bill Owens is President Obama's choice for the seat -- while Doug Hoffman's sole mission in Congress would be to oppose the agenda we've worked so hard to enact.
It's more important than ever to turn out the vote for Bill Owens. We're running out of time -- so we need your help. Call three Owens voters and remind them to vote on Tuesday:

Our online tool will make it quick and easy -- and President Obama is counting on you to get involved.
Thanks,
Mitch

New York's 23rd congressional district hasn't been represented by a Democrat since the 1800's -- but in a few days, we'll have a chance to win and send President Obama a strong ally in Congress.
It's an unusual, three-way race. Republican leaders in Washington are picking sides between the GOP and Conservative Party candidates, while our movement is united behind President Obama's choice: Democrat Bill Owens, an Air Force veteran with a proven record of creating jobs.
But, just like last year, everyone will need to get involved to win. Turnout is everything -- the election could be decided by a handful of votes. So we need your help to call Bill Owens supporters and make sure they get out to vote next Tuesday.
Using our simple online tool, making calls is easy and effective. Can the President count on you to get involved now?
Call Bill Owens supporters in NY-23 and remind them to vote Tuesday.
Thousands of OFA supporters have made calls using our online "Neighbor to Neighbor" tool in the past year. Just log in (or create an account) and follow the simple instructions.
In no time, you'll be on the phone with an Owens supporter who is grateful for the reminder to vote -- and you'll have a tremendous impact on a key special election from the comfort of your own home.
A week ago, President Obama wrote folks in New York to announce his support for Bill Owens:
"As I work to change the tone of our nation's politics and end the petty partisanship that has dominated Washington for too long, I'll need the help of leaders like Bill.
But my support will only take Bill so far. As we learned last year, true change doesn't come from folks in Washington, but from the dedication and energy of people like you."
It's true -- we proved last year that thousands of volunteers knocking on doors and making phone calls can accomplish anything. And today, we need your help again.
Call Owens supporters and remind them to vote Tuesday:
