FDIC Makes Public April Enforcement Actions; No Administrative Hearings Scheduled for June 2012

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in April. No administrative hearings are scheduled for June 2012.
The FDIC issued a total of 56 orders in April. The orders included: 13 consent orders; four removal and prohibition orders; 14 civil money penalties; one prompt corrective action; two section 19 orders; one modification of consent order; 19 orders terminating consent orders and cease and desist orders; and two orders terminating supervisory prompt corrective action directives.
