NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- The head of investment banking for the Americas at UBS AG , Aryeh Bourkoff, has resigned "to pursue other opportunities," according to an internal memo from the Swiss bank seen by MarketWatch. A spokesperson for UBS confirmed the departure. UBS has named Steve Cummings as interim head of investment banking for the Americas effective immediately, the memo said.
