National Archives Hosts 5th Annual Forum on Women in Leaders

National Archives Hosts 5th Annual Forum on Women in Leadership March 1 5th Annual Forum on Women in Leadership: Women in Leadership for the First Ladies Washington, D.C. . . . On Thursday, March 1, at 7 PM, the National Archives will host a panel discussion on Women in Leadership for the First Ladies. This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the William G. McGowan Theater of the National Archives Building in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events Entrance, located on the National Mall at Constitution Ave. and 7th Street, NW. What changes have taken place in roles, opportunities, and obstacles for women in leadership positions in the White House? NPR news analyst Cokie Roberts moderates a panel including Anita McBride, former Chief of Staff for Laura Bush; Susan Sher, former Chief of Staff to Michelle Obama; Jean Becker, former Deputy Press Secretary to Barbara Bush; and Bess Abell, former White House Social Secretary. The fifth Annual Forum on Women in Leadership: Women in Leadership for the First Ladies is presented in partnership with the National Archives Presidential Materials Division.
