What a Month!

Together, our movement has been doing amazing work. We forced a national debate on creating a more peaceful world and refocusing American priorities. We have stood up to leaders in both parties and led a bipartisan campaign to end the war in Libya and bring our troops home from Afghanistan. We have been aggressive and our voices are being heard.
But we aren't the only ones being aggressive. Across the country, corporate forces have been pushing for draconian cuts to the social safety net, making it harder for all Americans to have a better quality of life. They are working to restrict the rights of workers to organize for better wages, and they're slashing services to those among us who need them most. They're trying to silence supporters of a single payer health plan, and they continue to pursue the status quo of continuous war. We have stood up against all of these attacks and used our voices to fight for social justice and a better quality of life for all.
Without you, none of this would have been possible. But we have so much more work to do, and I need your help to keep our voice in Congress. On Monday Elizabeth issued an ambitious fundraising goal - $50,000 in just four days. Thanks to your help, we're already half way to our goal, but I need your help to get us there.
