Stimson Center article highlighting the strategic importance of Afghanistan's shifting demography, a Heritage Foundation article calling for the U.S. and the United Kingdom to reject deadlines for withdrawal from Afghanistan, and a Senate hearing examining the civilian strategy in Afghanistan and efforts to establish effective Afghan governance.
