Denial of Visa Reversed (Taken Question)

Office of the Spokesman
Washington, DC

July 27, 2010

Question: Why did the Department of State reverse the denial of a visa for a Colombian journalist, Hollman Morris?
Answer: The U.S. Embassy has issued Mr. Morris and his family J visas. Pursuant to Section 222(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), visa records are confidential and we are unable to discuss the specific details of Mr. Morris’ case.
