U.S. stocks rise as economic reports positive to 15,409.39
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks climbed on Tuesday, bouncing back from last week's losses after data showed consumer confidence rising in May and the real-estate market picking up speed. Hitting another record close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 106.29 points at 15,409.39. The S&P 500 index added 10.46 points to 1,660.06. The Nasdaq Composite gained 29.74 points to 3,488.88.
