SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- General Motors Co. reported Wednesday an 11% rise in April U.S. vehicle sales. The company sold 237,646 pick-ups and cars in the month, bringing its seasonally adjusted annual rate of sales to 15 million. Cadillac sales led the increase, up 34% from a year ago, while GMC brought up the rea, rising 6.7%.
