Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Anne C. Richard Speaks at Tri-Agency Conference

Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Anne C. Richard will travel to St. Paul, Minnesota on April 30, 2013.

While in St. Paul, Assistant Secretary Richard will speak to refugee resettlement agency affiliate staff from around the country at a conference convened by three national resettlement agencies: Church World Service, Episcopal Migration Ministries, and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service. Assistant Secretary Richard plans to speak about the future directions of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. In FY2012, more than 58,000 refugees from 66 countries started new lives in the United States.
