Gold logs biggest one-day percent gain since June
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures to score their biggest one-day percentage gain since June, buoyed by prospects for easier monetary policies and a weaker U.S. dollar. Gold for June delivery rose $38.30, or 2.7%, to settle at $1,462 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. That was the largest percentage gain for a most-active contract in a single session since June 29, according to FactSet data.
