General Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel announced today that the President has made the following nomination:

Air Force Maj. Gen. Douglas J. Robb, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and for assignment as director, Defense Health Agency, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, Under Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness), Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Robb is currently serving as Joint Staff surgeon, Office of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
