CDFI Fund Releases Additional Resources for CDFI Recertification Applicants
To further support potential Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) recertification applicants, the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) has added additional resources to its website.
The CDFI Fund has posted recordings of the six recertification conference calls that Certification, Compliance Monitoring and Evaluation team members held in February and March 2013. Broken into groups based on institution type, potential recertification applicants had a chance to ask CDFI Fund staff detailed questions about the recertification process.
The CDFI Fund is also providing the CDFI industry with an updated Certification Frequently Asked Questions document; the questions addressed in the document cover many of the common topics raised by applicants on the conference calls as well as those who contacted the CDFI Fund’s Certification Help Desk.
Both the conference call recordings and the Frequently Asked Questions document are now available on the CDFI Fund’s website at www.cdfifund.gov/cdficert in the “Supplemental Resources” and “Recertification Conference Calls” sections. Recertification applications for CDFIs certified before February 1, 2010 are due by 11:59 p.m. EDT April 1, 2013.
