U.S. stock futures modestly up after housing data at 14,413
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures held modest gains Tuesday after the Commerce Department reported construction of new U.S. homes rose 0.8% in February. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were up 23 points at 14,413. Those for the S&P 500 gained 3.4 points to 1,550.2. Nasdaq 100 futures added 8.75 points to 2,795.75.
