Secretary Kerry Makes First Visit to U.S. Agency for International Development

On Friday, February 15, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will host Secretary of State John Kerry for his first visit with USAID staff. USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah will welcome Secretary Kerry to the Ronald Reagan Building, and they will make remarks to assembled staff members at 10 a.m. in the Atrium Hall.

Their remarks will be open to the press.

Pre-set time for video cameras: 7:30 a.m. at the 14th Street entrance of the Ronald Reagan Building.
Final access time for journalists and still photographers: 9:15 a.m. at the 14th Street entrance of the Ronald Reagan Building.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport).
