Building Resilience through Public-Private Partnerships Conference
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and United States Northern Command, will present the third-annual Building Resilience through Public-Private Partnerships Conference July 23-25, 2013. The conference host is Rutgers University's Department of Supply Chain Management in Newark, NJ.
This year’s conference theme, “Partnerships in Action: Enhancing National and Economic Security,” will highlight successful public-private partnerships across the homeland security enterprise and is designed to identify solutions to coordinate gaps between the public and private sectors.
Call-for-Topics: The planning committee is accepting panel and keynote speaker suggestions from the public and private sectors. Please submit a brief overview of proposed presentations and speaker biographies to PPPConference@hq.dhs.gov.
Key Themes: This year's key themes are Hurricane Sandy response efforts, campus resilience, critical infrastructure and key resources, cyber security, and global supply chain resilience.
