Building Resilience through Public-Private Partnerships Conference

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and United States Northern Command, will present the third-annual Building Resilience through Public-Private Partnerships Conference July 23-25, 2013. The conference host is Rutgers University's Department of Supply Chain Management in Newark, NJ.

This year’s conference theme, “Partnerships in Action: Enhancing National and Economic Security,” will highlight successful public-private partnerships across the homeland security enterprise and is designed to identify solutions to coordinate gaps between the public and private sectors.

Call-for-Topics: The planning committee is accepting panel and keynote speaker suggestions from the public and private sectors. Please submit a brief overview of proposed presentations and speaker biographies to PPPConference@hq.dhs.gov.

Key Themes: This year's key themes are Hurricane Sandy response efforts, campus resilience, critical infrastructure and key resources, cyber security, and global supply chain resilience.

More detailed registration information will be posted to the Public-Private Partnerships Conference page. Please contact the DHS Private Sector Office at 202-282-8484 or PPPConference@hq.dhs.gov for immediate inquiries.
