LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- After trading in negative territory Sunday afternoon amid the lack of a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff, U.S. stock-index futures swung positive. Shortly before midnight U.S. Eastern time Sunday, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were 28 points, or 0.2%, higher, while those for the S&P 500 traded up 0.3%. Nasdaq futures edged up 0.1%.
