AHRQ seeks applicants for Research Associate (Junior Fellow) position with the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, Department of Health and Human Services seeks applicants for a fellowship to conduct research with mentorship from senior researchers. Be a member of the interdisciplinary and team-oriented Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) that identifies emerging research needs and develops databases to address those needs. Conduct research with the HCUP data to track, understand and improve health care quality, patient safety, access, costs and efficiency. Manage HCUP tasks and oversee development of user-friendly products (e.g., technical reports; analytical software tools). Requires Master's degree in a health-related or research field and 2 years of appropriate post-masters experience (GS-11 equivalent). Recent graduates of doctoral programs in health services research, economics, other social science, epidemiology, public health or a clinical field are encouraged to apply.
