General Officer Assignments


The chief of staff, Army announced today the following general officer assignments:
Maj. Gen. John A. Davis to senior military advisor for cyber to the under secretary of defense for policy, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, Washington, D.C. He most recently served as director, current operations, J-33, U.S. Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Md.
Brig. Gen. Lewis M. Boone to director, U.S. Army Physical Disability Agency, Arlington, Va. He most recently served as director, public affairs office, International Security Assistance Force, Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan.
Brig. Gen. Timothy R. Coffin, deputy commanding general (operations), U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/U.S. Army Forces Strategic Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., to deputy commander, Joint Functional Component Command for Space, U.S. Strategic Command, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.
Brig. Gen. Daniel P. Hughes, director, system of systems integration, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., to deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md./senior commander, Natick Soldier System Center, Natick, Mass.
