Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta hosts an honor cordon to welcome Poland's Minister of National Defense Tomasz Siemoniak to the Pentagon today at 3:15 p.m. EDT. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Pedestrian Bridge only. Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call 703-697-5131 for escort to the cordon.
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta will give remarks at 7:20 p.m. EDT at an Iftar for the Pentagon community at the Pentagon Conference Center to break the daily fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Please contact the Pentagon Chaplain Office at 703-693-9268 for additional information.
