Penn State Regional Meeting (Speakers
and Guests)
Hello Friends,
I wanted to remind you about next weekends
Regional Meeting on OCTOBER 24TH at STATE COLLEGE.
THIS IS OUR MOST IMPORTANT EVENT OF THE
YEAR, so I hope you can make it. We are hoping our presense will
remind everyone about the election and fuel additional turnout
for the state ticket.
We would like to extend a special thank
you to some great speakers and to, former Philadelphia City Controller
and current Lieutenant Governor candidate, Jonathan Saidel for
being our special guest.
The details for the event are below, we
hope you can all make it to the 11 am canvass which is a main
reason we will be there:
i. At 11 AM, PAYD will be canvassing for
our statewide judicial ticket, District Attorney Candidate Stacy
Parks-Miller and the local slate. We will be meeting at 224 South
Allen Street, State College, PA.
ii. At 3 PM, we will hold our 2nd annual
Regional Meeting, on campus at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center,
Room 118. The speakers include Anne Gemmell LaBrum, from Education
Voters PA, and Frank Bodino, the inspiration for the Denzell
Washington movie "John Q."
iii. At 7 PM, will have a reception at
Damon's Grill at 1031 E. College Ave., State College, with special
guest former Philadelphia City Controller Jonathan Saidel.
