As the conference get's closer, there will be a leadership list
comprised of our guest speakers.
Panel discussions will be led by notable
leadership and representatives of the community. Trainings will
be led by Democratic National Committee Staff. Worried about
cost? Don't be. This weekend training will only cost students
$25 (with ID) and $65 for participants in the community.
The Florida College Democrats (FCD) is
the official student outreach arm of the Democratic Party. Our
aim is to train new generations of activists and shape the Democratic
Party with voices from America's youth.
In election years, College Democrats work
hard to mobilize student voters and recruit volunteers for Democratic
campaigns, from town council to President of the United States.
In 2008, FCD was larger, more organized, and better trained than
ever, and carried out a field plan that helped deliver a Democratic
Majority in both houses of congress!
