(CNN) The U.S. government intends to have all its troops
out of Iraq by the end of 2011, and it's up to the Iraqis to
make that timetable work, Vice President Joe Biden said.

Iranian clerics come out against election results

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) Top clerics and seminary students in
Irans holy city of Qom have come out against the results
of the disputed June Iranian presidential election, which was
declared a landslide victory for the hard-line incumbent.
The Qom clergy seen as the backbone
of the nations religious establishment issued a
statement on Saturday, saying that the election was skewed. The
statement is a significant strike against Irans supreme
leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who sides with the incumbent,
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
